Conceived and built by a traditional family of German origin, who lived in the area since the middle of the XIX Century, Hotel Cabañas del Lago was founded by Mr Luis Wellmenn and it opened to the public in 1980.

Throughout the years, this family enterprise has gained an important role as a tourist referent in the region promoting, encouraging and keeping the German customs in every corner of the hotel, from their food to the decoration of their 130 rooms.

The four stars granted to Hotel Cabañas del Lago can barely describe the impressive landscape and great comforts the hotel has to offer all of its guests.
